The 400W Series Emergency Relief Manhole Cover is designed to provide emergency pressure venting and vacuum relief in storage tanks and vessels, while allowing easy access for tank inspection and maintenance. Without a secondary safety net like the 400W Series provides, tanks are susceptible to explosion or implosion as pressure/ vacuum rises.
