The Varec 211 Series is designed for low pressure gas lines where maximum flow with minimum pressure drop is required. It should be installed downstream of flow meters, regulators, or other equipment that could be damaged by an accidental reversal of the gas flow direction or from pressure or shock waves. The 211 Series uses a free swinging pendulum which is forced open by positive pressure from the gas flow direction and closes should a reversal of flow occur.
